KINGDOM not the same as SALVATION

iNTRODUCTION -    .

    Salvation is here and now; and, ultimately, entering into the Kingdom of God at the end of time.

    Entering into the Kingdom of God is here and now; and/or, otherwise, ultimately, at the end of time.

THE TWO THINGS ARE NOT THE SAME THINGS.

    i.e.  You can be saved and still not be allowed to enter into the Kingdom of God here and now.

-or-    You can be saved and allowed to enter into the Kingdom of God here and now.

e.g.

2 Corinthians 12: 1-5;

1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.

BEING ALLOWED TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS A REWARD FOR / TO THOSE WHO FIND IT / ATTAIN THEREUNTO IT.

OR, OTHERWISE, IT IS A BLESSING / A GIFT GOD GRANTS AS HE SEES FIT / WILLS.

1st./  However, notwithstanding,  2 Peter 1:2-11; teaches that is something that is earned through / in process of adding to your faith and attaining unto the promises.

2 Peter 1:11;
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2nd./  However, there are prerequisites also..........

Matthew 18:3;
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:20;
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Acts 14:22;   SUFFERING IS THE WAY....
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 15:50;
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Matthew 22:29;
Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Galatians 1:15, 16;
15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:.... and,

Colossians 1:12-14;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:...

A./  We have already been translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son  !!!! However,

B./  Partaking and entering thereinto as a partaker thereof therewith is not the same thing as being translated through faith and the operation of God in regeneration and renewal unto Salvation.
